Rocker Travis Barker dreamed he would die in a plane crash — weeks before he very nearly did when his Learjet crashed during takeoff, killing four, the Blink-182 drummer says in his new memoir, “Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums.”

Barker escaped the horrific 2008 crash by kicking in the emergency exit door and jumping out of the jet’s wing, which was “filled with gasoline.”

His whole body caught fire, so he took off his clothes and ran naked, “holding on to his genitals,” but “couldn’t get the fire” off him.

Investigators look over the debris left by the Learjet that crashed while it was carrying former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and Adam Goldstein, also know as DJ AM, on the outskirts of the Columbia Metropolitan Airport, in 2008 in South Carolina.

He had burns on 65% of his body. The 39-year-old was one of two survivors of the crash, along with the late Adam Goldstein, aka DJ AM, who died in 2009 of an apparent overdose.

Investigators later blamed the crash on two tires that exploded during take-off.

Barker spent 11 weeks in the hospital and underwent 27 surgeries, but because of his past drug use he would wake up mid-surgery and try to punch the doctors.

Today the dad of three leads a healthier lifestyle and has been sober eight years. “I have the best support system. I have the most amazing kids. I’m not on any medications. I haven’t seen a post-traumatic doctor in six years,” he recently told Billboard. “I get so much love and happiness out of playing music and playing the drums and my kids. There’s nothing better.”

He’s currently dating singer Rita Ora, who he told People is a “sweetheart.”

The “How We Do” songstress and Barker got the romance ball rolling at the Power 106 All-Star Basketball Game held Sept. 20 in Los Angeles.
