Lil Wayne claims he’s been duped by Universal Records, who didn’t pay him royalties.

Lil Wayne wants his cash money.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the “Lollipop” rapper claims he’s out “tens of millions of dollars” because he discovered Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Tyga, and is suing Universal Records for $ 40 million.

Wayne’s lawyers claim Universal Music Group is keeping the royalty monies instead of paying him, according to the lawsuit filed by his attorneys Monday in California.

His Young Money Label is a subdivision of Universal’s Cash Money Records, which according to the lawsuit is “designed to manufacture, distribute, promote and exploit performances of new recording artists discovered by Carter and signed to the label.”

Last year, he waged a war with longtime collaborator Cash Money CEO Bryan “Birdman” Williams over a $ 51 million lawsuit he filed against Cash Money records.

In the lawsuit, Young Money claimed it was supposed to get a hefty piece of a $ 100 million advance from Universal Records — an advance that was collected by Cash Money.
