Rendering of Braves new stadium has team losing

The rendering of the Atlanta Braves new SunTrust Park has everything the team wants. A sold out crowd, a shiny new scoreboard, and the Braves trailing the Nationals 6-3.

Wait, what?

That’s right, Twitter user @gritty_grinder’s keen eye spotted the gaffe in the scoreboard, tweeting, “In their own rendering of Suntrust Park, Braves are losing 6-3 to the Nats and have committed an error #TheBravesWay.”

Perhaps the artist who drew the rendering isn’t optimistic about the team trading Jason Heyward to the Cardinals.

Or maybe he or she just didn’t realize the home team belongs on the bottom of the scoreboard.

Regardless, the Atlanta Braves Twitter account had the perfect response:

[email protected]_grinder it’s only the 7th inning: @FreddieFreeman5 hits a grand slam in the 8th and @kimbrel46 saves it in the 9th. #duh.”

Now that’s a save.
